Attorney Chadwell is well known throughout Massachusetts as an experienced workers’ compensation attorney. He focuses 100% of his practice on consulting with and representing insurers, self-insurers and employers throughout Massachusetts.

Attorney Chadwell has lectured extensively and participated in numerous seminars on Massachusetts workers’ compensation issues. He has been recognized by his peers with the preeminent designations of Massachusetts Super Lawyers for 2010 – 2015 and Rising Stars for 2005.

Attorney Chadwell, a resident of Longmeadow, Massachusetts, was born in Holyoke, MA in 1969. He graduated from the College of Holy Cross with a BA in Political Science and Economics in 1991. He graduated from Fordham University School of Law with his Juris Doctorate in 1994.

Attorney Chadwell was admitted to the Massachusetts Bar in 1994. He was admitted to the Massachusetts United States District Court in 1995. In 1996, he was admitted to practice law in Connecticut.

From 1994-2005, Attorney Chadwell was initially an associate and subsequently a shareholder in a large western Massachusetts firm’s litigation department, focusing on workers’ compensation defense, insurance defense and insurance coverage law. Since 2005, Attorney Chadwell has focused his entire practice on workers’ compensation defense. He has personally handled hundreds of workers’ compensation hearings, district and superior court trials, appellate proceedings, mediations and arbitrations. He has extensive experience advising his clients regarding workers’ compensation claims, safety programs, cost control programs, insurance coverage, and disability and employment related issues.

Attorney Chadwell is a member of both the Hampden County and Massachusetts Bar Associations. He has been very active in local community and charitable activities since returning to the area after graduation from law school. He is a current member of the Springfield Chamber of Commerce. He is a former long time member of the Springfield Technical Community College Board of Trustees, and also is the former co-chair of the Western Massachusetts March of Dimes Golf Tournament. Attorney Chadwell is active raising funds for several other charities, including the Alzheimer’s Association.
